Welcome!

Thank you for checking out my blog!

What I hope to accomplish here is present my knowledge of my family history with the relatives I know and those I hope to get to know.  My intentions are to post information that you may find connects your family and mine.  I'm very willing to share information with cousins.  Everything is open for discussion.

Also, I'll discuss my research experiences and maybe drop a tip or two that you can use.  I hope you find it interesting.  Your comments and suggestions are welcome.  I look forward to connecting and networking with other family history researchers.

Time is valuable and I appreciate you spending a little of it here!

    1. I'm so glad you found your ancestors' marriage listed there! That's the main purpose of posting those old clippings! If your family homesteaded in Nebraska, have you found their record at the Bureau of Land Management website? It should be there. Thank you for letting me know you found that post.

  2. Laura I have been searching and searching for the marriage license and death/obituary of my Grandfathers first wife. Her name was Clara J Tucker and she married Charles Jefferson Call. Not sure of the year they were married but her date of birth is May 27 1885 and death is Apr 22 1914 She is buried in Aurora Cemetery Hamilton County Nebraska. My grandfather later married my grandmother Dorothy Shoemaker to help raise his children by his first marriage. I believe there were three and she had one. Can you help me out any with this. My email is pegwolfe@outlook.com. I live in North Platte Nebraska. Thank you.

I am trying to locate information on Minnetta Eakins who was born in 1868 in pueblo County Colorado. Can you find any information on her. Her father was Clemens Eakin(s) and he is buried in Rye Colorado.
