Tombstone Tuesday - Edward Jones



This stone lies in Mount Ararat Cemetery, east of Centerville, Iowa.  It belongs to Edward Jones.  He would be my Step 3rd Great Grandfather.  

 There are several old stones is this little country cemetery lying on the ground and/or in need of repair.

    Oh, those hands. But looking at this photo, I'm guessing the stones are best left lying down. They look rather fragile.

      I'm sure you're right, Wendy. It's just sad to see them. I hope they at least get photographed before they are gone. I appreciate your comment.
